Wind in the Willows
SynopsisLife may seem pretty quiet on the riverbank - rabbits and hedgehogs passing the time of day, ducks a-dabbling, otters learning to swim and others simply messing about in boats. But Mr Toad is about to break the calm with the latest in a long line of obsessions - a shiny new motor car (poop poop!) -which takes him on an adventure that leads to prison and ultimately threatens to see his stately home over-run by the weasely Wild Wooders.
Fortunately for Toady, his friends Mole, Rat and Badger are on hand to save the day and return a bit of order to proceedings.
Kenneth Grahame's timeless tale of 'The Wind in the Willows' has charmed and enchanted adults and children alike for more than 100 years. Potters Bar Theatre Company bought Alan Bennett's colourful and witty modern dramatisation to Wyllyotts Theatre during the 2011 Easter Holidays.
