“Don’t Dress for Dinner” is a two act play for three men and three women, written by the French playwright Marc Camoletti
(who also wrote ”Boeing Boeing”).
The play was first performed in France in 1987 and then ran in London for six years with a cast featuring Su Pollard and Simon Cadell. It opened on Broadway in 2012. Of the London production, The Guardian wrote “Hurtling along at the speed of light, Marc Camoletti’s breath taking farce is a near faultless piece of theatrical invention. Within seconds, we are drawn into a delicious web of marital treachery which accelerates towards an all-star denouement....”
Our production was directed by the highly esteemed Keith Thompson from the Barn Theatre in Welwyn and ran from Tuesday 28th October to Saturday 1st November 2014 at Tilbury Hall, Potters Bar.
